Aggregate Resources
These sites are permitted for commercially useful function through local governmental zoning authorities, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and the Washington State Department of Ecology. All locations, with the exception of Sherman Pass, offer customers both picked-up and delivered options.
For large quantity orders, and for qualified contractors, discount pricing is available. Contract-specific aggregate production for larger construction projects located within close proximity to these resource sites may also be available through implementation of one of our large, portable crushing plants as well.
Another facet of the Aggregate Resources division is our ability to permit and facilitate the development of a new resource, and also to assist with plan expansion of existing sources.
Rock Crushing
Our portable crushing operations provide inventory production for our customers as well as project-specific crushing and screening throughout Washington and the Northern regions of Oregon. With an emphasis on quality, we own and operate near-new crushing equipment engineered to produce optimum particle shape while providing superior production.
Also, we self-perform aggregate gradation, sand equivalency, and fractured face compliance testing. In addition, we send sample splits to a certified, accredited geotechnical testing laboratory to obtain 3rd. party quality assurance documentation, Proctor curve graphing, specific gravity and maximum dry density data.
Site Prep / Underground Utilities
The majority of our excavators and bulldozers are equipped with GPS grade control technology to install sewer, water, and storm drainage utilities as well as site grading, roadway grading, and concrete preparation. Utilizing some of the latest technology and a skilled team of industry professionals, we are able to design, perform, and complete projects to the satisfaction of our clientele.
Heavy Earth Moving / Road Building
Our operating area includes Eastern and Central Washington, Northern Idaho, and North Central Oregon. We own and operate large, mid and small sized earthmoving equipment, and our key machines are equipped with Topcon GPS grade control systems.
Past projects include site grading for a 2,400,000 Sq. Ft. Amazon fulfillment center, a large Caterpillar Distribution Center, grading and utility work on the Spokane Tribe Casino expansion project, site grading on a Walmart Super Center, and field leveling for J.R. Simplot. We have in-house engineering capabilities and utilize CAD drafting software for designing and building project surfaces.
