1926 – Brooks Steam Car

With permission from the Stratford Perth Museum I had a chance to video this old car. Brooks Steam Motors, Ltd. was a Canadian manufacturer of steam cars established in March 1923. The Brooks steam cars had many problems, such as, its boiler was undersized for the car’s mass, making too little steam to propel the 3,800 lb car much above 40 mph. Likewise, it was an expensive car and listed for $3,885.00 back in 1926. The power plant was a two-cylinder engine styled after the Stanley engine. The end of Brooks came in 1931 as stockholders sought liquidation because of the Great Depression. : )

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
